UK Delivery Information

Delivery Schedule

Standard deliveries take place Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm.

  • Furniture: Delivered within 6–8 weeks, depending on your postcode and available delivery slots at the time of purchase.

  • All Other Items: Usually delivered within 7–10 working days.

We work with specialist couriers for furniture and fragile items to ensure they arrive safely. Please note that due to the size and delicate nature of these products, express delivery is not available.


Unpacking & Returns

Take care when unpacking - avoid using sharp tools like knives that could damage the item. Keep all original packaging until you're sure you’re keeping the item, as it’s required for returns.


Inspecting Your Delivery

Please inspect all items upon delivery. If anything is damaged, email info@eighteeninteriordesign.com within 24 hours and include clear photos of the damage. Claims made after this timeframe may not be accepted.

Delivery Times & Signatures

Unless a specific slot has been arranged, deliveries will occur between 8am and 6pm on weekdays. Most deliveries require a signature, and couriers are unable to leave items unattended.


Deliveries from Partner Brands

We collaborate with trusted brands that may ship directly to you. This means:

  • Your order may arrive via a courier not listed in our standard service.

  • The courier may contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time.

Note: Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, and the Channel Islands may involve a surcharge and longer delivery times. If this applies, our customer service team will be in touch.


Preparing for Delivery

To ensure a smooth delivery:

  • Confirm your item fits through all access points.

  • Remove breakables from hallways and protect flooring.

  • Some couriers deliver to the ground floor only. Let us know in advance if you need delivery beyond this to avoid delays or additional fees.

Once dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details (where available) via email.

If your order contains items from different brands, they may arrive separately via different couriers. Ensure someone is available throughout the delivery window. If no one is home, couriers may leave a card or place the item in a safe location.


Important Notes

  • Missed deliveries may result in a redelivery fee.

  • Cancelled orders after dispatch will have shipping fees deducted from the refund.

  • A £15 weekly storage fee applies until redelivery is arranged.


Upon Delivery

Please inspect all items before signing. If you’re unable to check them at the time, sign as "unchecked" to preserve your right to claim.

  • Keep all original packaging and your order confirmation for any after-sales support.

  • You have 48 hours from delivery to report any issues.

  • If available, some couriers offer an “Unpack and Check” service - allow time for this inspection.

  • Once an item is signed for without reporting damage, it may not be eligible for return.

If the product requires assembly:

  • Check all parts and instructions before starting.

  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.

  • Returns cannot be accepted for items that have been assembled, fitted, or damaged.

If storing your items for later use, we still recommend a thorough check upon arrival.


Pre-Order Items

Pre-order products will display an estimated delivery date on their product page. This is a guideline and may be affected by external factors such as supplier delays.

  • Payment is taken at checkout to secure your item.

  • Once available, we’ll begin processing your shipment.

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, we usually ship in-stock items first. However, some orders may be held until all items are ready.
